The International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance is the most important trade fair for 3D measurement technology, software, hardware and automation in which we are represented. This year, we were for the first time with our partner booth in Hall 8. Together with our long-time partners New River Kinematics, BRUNSON and GDV, we presented our current product portfolio and our cooperation. In total, more than 20 representatives of all four companies were present to be able to comprehensively answer the technical questions of all visitors. The internationality was also very clear here: Most came from Germany and the USA, but also from France, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. So many visitors from other countries could not only be advised in German and English.

Since the beginning of January 2019, VMT has been available as a support contact for Hexagon’s SpatialAnalyzer customers. That’s why we had also set up a small additional information booth in Hall 5, with which we wanted to be especially present for the Hexagon customers.

As every year, we had round off the first day of the fair with a well-attended booth party. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of VMT and New River Kinematics, there were two speeches and we get a birthday cake for all guests.

Once again it has become clear that the subject of automation is increasingly becoming the focus of many customers. For us, this is becoming more and more a key issue, where we see a great benefit for our customers in the mechanical engineering, aircraft construction and railway engineering sectors and we will support them in the future with their automation requirements.
